History

Michael De Jong has been designing and building homes for more than 20 years. He grew up on job sites, as his father was also a homebuilder. Here is how Michael describes his love for design and build:

“I was always on construction sites as a child and absolutely loved it. About 25 years ago, after university, I joined my father in the business. I trained as a framer but have always loved design and attention to detail in trimming, cabinet-making and furniture design and construction.”

Fifteen years ago, Michael opened Michael De Jong Homes Inc. with a vision to beautify Burlington and the surrounding area one home at a time. De Jong Homes strives to create for every client the best possible fit between living space and lifestyle.
